Agius scores hat trick in win

A come from behind win for Junior Varsity yesterday. Los Alamitos got out to an early 3-goal lead. Then, YLHS sophomore Mason Agius deflected the first of his hat trick, from a freshman Matt McDonnell point shot. In the middle part of the 2nd period, Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League all star selectee Tyler McCraw, and Chase Robertson evened the score. The Griffins got the lead back with 2 consecutive goals. Junior Canyon Foreman cut the Los Al lead to 1 with 1 second remaining in the 2nd period. The 3rd period was all Yorba Linda. Four unanswered goals by Agius, Jackson Karol, and Malia Penrose. Our winning goalies were substitutes Blake T. And Blake P. (Thank you).
