Hat-trick and a michigan defeat Spartans

Hudson Freker kept the puck out of the net until the 49th minute, saving 40 of 41 shots. That was plenty of time for Yorba Linda to score five goals for the victory. YLHS Sophomore Joon Kim led Yorba Linda scoring with his first ADHSHL hat-trick and an assist. Freshman Travis Heim deflected in a point shot from Max Shirai. Max Badillo made his offer for goal of the year with a Michigan goal from behind the net on a Power play. With the win Yorba Linda displaced Villa Park to move up one place in the standings.

Yorba Linda's next game and last of the regular season is Saturday, February 3 at 4:15 PM in the Rinks KHS Ice Arena.
